Requirements for Tutors for Online classes:
| The first and most important item you will need in order to be successful in an online class is unlimited access to a computer. While mobile devices are convenient, you should not rely on a mobile device as your primary means of taking an online class. We do have some minimum computer specifications typically used by online schools. Having a webcam and microphone are normally required. Throughout your classes, there are many areas where students will use audio or video instead of typing. This can increase your feeling of involvement and connection to the class and your classmates. |
- Age: Use a computer five years old or newer
- Speed: 1 GB of RAM
- Processor: 2 GHz processor
- Operating System: Windows 7 or newer, Mac OSX 10.6 or newer
- Hard Drive Space: 2 GB free hard drive space
- Audio: Speakers or headphones, and microphone
- Bandwidth: Minimum of 512kbps
- Video: Webcam, in built or external
- Internet connection: Speed test greater that 25
- Software : QQ Tencent, Zoom or Voov
